....Yes, I'm gonna make a Metroid comic. Well... I can't be CERTAIN, but I have a basic plot outlined already and it seems that with each day that passes, it becomes increasingly likely that one day I'll be compelled to start this project that would've been utterly impossible for me to pull off some years ago. Not sure what I'm gonna call it yet, but whatevs. I've got plenty of time to decide.
This story would begin some time after Fusion ends, chronicling Samus' final adventures in the last years of her prime. I'll try not to rely much on older material, like Other M did with its excessive retro pandering (lazily bringing back a bunch of old enemies so you can relive those childhood memories of Super Metroid on a purely superficial level instead of coming up with an interesting, original plot), and it won't feature resurrected Space Pirates, Mother Brains, Metroids themselves, or anything like that.
Yes, Samus will speak, but not much. If someone asks her a question, she'll answer accordingly, but she won't be a droning chatterbox, and she won't be a silent protagonist either.
I know I have a lot on my plate, but I'm confident that I can chew through it all. Once Pseudo Sapien Antibody is out of the way, I'll have nothing but side projects like Starfox XYZ and the rest of Dimension of Rapture (most of which will be short entries like the bonus story I recently uploaded) to worry about.
Sorry I neglected to upload any pages of Band of Blades today.... That's two days in a row, and I feel like such a slacker. I'll be sure to have more pages online tomorrow... At least three. It just took me so long to color this piece, that if I were to START coloring some pages now, it would eat up most of the day and I have other things I want to do. Again, so sorry for making you guys wait so long to see what happens next.
Anyhow... just another thing on a long list of things to look forward too. We're getting there, bros. This is very possible. I got that Hero Factory comic done with no problem, and this is no different.
