Rise of The Devilman- 174- The Devilman Has Risen

Or is it "Arisen?" Eh, I dunno.

Boy, this sure takes me back. Look at how far we've come with this little comic, huh? I wanted to do this for a while, but, just like Metroid Revival, this was one of those cases where I didn't think I had what it takes at first, eventually finally gaining the gusto to just GO for it. It was worth it.

I've really enjoyed making this comic. Not just paying tribute to one of the craziest mangakas ever born, but testing myself to see how well I could handle all of these dark, adult themes and if I could make a good, modernized narrative out of it. From the reception it's gotten, I'd say this was a success.

I'll return someday with the next volume, which will be VERY different than what you remember from the original series. Yes, Siren will be a huge focus in Wrath of The Devilman, but her actions will be different. You'll see. This is where I'll start veering off in my own direction, as I started to with the introduction of Morbis.

Anyway, still got one more thing to upload today.
