Panel 4 has gotta be the best drawing of his face that I have ever done. For some reason, I've always had a hard time with it, mostly the eyes. It probably doesn't show, but yeah. I think I'm finally getting the hang of it.
That's it for today. Tomorrow, we'll see the ending "credits" sequence, featuring Evanescence's "Disappear," followed by an epilogue that teases at what comes next.
So watcha' think of this story? We've come a long way, huh? I hope this is a bold enough move to push the series in a new direction, at least a little bit.

Ok so sorta felt like sharing this. So I can't remember exactly when I first read SoTD, i.e. before BWF & Crybaby, or after them, but basically what middle school me saw (or what I thought I saw) was Akira heading back to Miki but at Miki's house she hears a noise & ask if Akira or her parents are there, and in the next panel we see a dark figure entering the house holding a knife. You can probably guess what that meant.
