I had a lot of fun making her look sleek and muscular.

Some have complained while certain Toa of water, like Nokama Metru, have beautiful masks, there are others, like Hahli Inika, or Gali Nuva Mistika, who have ugly, frumpy or mechanical looking masks. I love Gali's original Kanohi Kaukau, but that mask is in no way feminine. In fact, it's dreadfully blocky. But whenever I draw her wearing this mask, I can still give her deep, gentle eyes that hint at a wise and benevolent spirit. Because in the end, Kanohi masks are NOT faces. And, while most faces in Bionicle are hideous anyways, I try to make her look like something strong and tough with beauty underneath.
