I love how much the sky adds to these scenes. So glad I took those pictures when I did. Even if the quality isn't great, gumming them up to look appropriately cartoony for this isn't too hard.

Also, is your interpretation of "Bionicle years" the same as the original canon?
I recall reading that there'd been a 1000 years between the time the Toa Metru became Turaga, and the Toa Mata's arrival on the island, but that was also said within the same text (which I'm afraid I can't source) to be much shorter than our own perception of a millenium.
Not sure why they'd do that. Maybe make it believably a lifetime for the Turaga, while trying to make it sound like a grandiose span of an era?
